KOMEN HAWAII CHALLENGES WASHINGTON
D.C. TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO MAMMOGRAPHY AND BREAST CANCER SCREENING
Members of the Hawaii Affiliate of
Susan G. Komen for the Cure traveled to the nation’s capital
on April 29, 2010 to remind our nation’s leaders of the
importance of early detection — and to challenge policy
makers to invest in cancer research to bring about the next generation
of screening technology.
